New Developments!

Here is Hannah on her rocking moose that she got for Christmas from our friend Jim Hanagan.

She can hold on by herself, but she is still working on the actual rocking thing.....

The other day Hannah and I took a walk with our friends Sarah and Nathaniel (Nathaniel is in the stroller) Don't they look cozy?

Okay........... Here is the new development........ Hannah started climbing stairs today at a friend's house. She was chasing a cat! When Jim got home we let her try it on our stairs...... can you say "baby leash?"

Hannah's Water Day!

Today Hannah took a "play bath." That's what we do when we don't know what else to do! Hannah loves the water.

After a while Hannah wondered if there were some other bigger, better place we could go to splash around....

So we went to The Community Center in Great Barrington to the splash pool....
Yippee!!!!

Here are a couple of movies from the splash pool. She had so much fun!!

Some Odd Bits

Here is a little movie of Hannah waving her new big girl wave..... she's concentrating really hard!

Here's a sledding movie from our last storm........ (no babies were harmed in the making of this film)

The day of the snowstorm Hannah and I went to the nail salon - we had the place to ourselves! Hannah loved controlling the massage chair remote.

Daddy was dancing in the barn with Hannah!

Hannah made her first snow angel....... we helped her flap her wings a little.

Baby Jail

Well, we finally had to get a baby containment system for our house. Ever since Hannah began crawling, no one was safe from her curious and persistent jaws - especially herself! (Abby was also having a hard time with Hannah using her water bowl as a kiddie pool and trying to sample her kibble every chance she got.

So now Hannah and whoever is in there with her looks like they are on display at the zoo........... "A human baby in its natural habitat - Please do not feed!"

Happy New Year 2008

On New Year's Morning we drove over to Hurlburt Hill before the snowstorm came and climbed up! We bundled Hannah up like a polish sausage and Jim pulled her all the way up to the top in her baby sled.

Almost there...........

We made it!

Woo-hoo!!

Hannah got to ride all the way down in her sled, too!!

Back at the visitor's center.

Later at home....... Snacking? Making art? Contemplating the pruniverse?
